Spring is here! We got New Stuff!

So as usual we are blowing it on the website update shit!! But i will try and get everyone back in the showdown loop. Bullshit Canadian winter has now subsided and as per our spring routine the shop is fucking packed!! New shit from Lowcard, Loser Machine, Creature, Indy, Santa Cruz, Real, Anti Hero, Spitfire, Brixton, Circa, and a shit load of new and classic Vans. Not to mention the 2012 line up from Death Squad is in stock in it's entirety!! Skate shit, tattoos, or chillin if you're just in our ghetto, come on by!!

Skinny, Jee Sayalero guest spot and Summertime!

Hope everyones snow free months are going well!!

A big showdown welcome to our new part time shop minion Justin Benson aka Skinny. He has been doing a bang up job his first month in!

Speaking of special guests, for about a week from the 18th of July, we will be welcoming guest artist Jee Sayalero from Spain to add to our Latino connection. If you're interested with getting some work done, feel free to call the shop. Jee will also be at our good buddies Deadly Tattoo in Calgary the following week if that better suits your schedule.

Let's all hope that this shitty rain/mosquito bullshit ends soon so outdoor park and street skating can once again reign supreme! Still managed a few bike rips and skate sessions regardless of the horrible conditions! Hell even got to sneak in a serious burnout at the last Afterdark Motorcycle shop visit.

Regardless of this summer's weather issues it has still been without a doubt wild in the ghetto. The hobo parties have been going on with their usual success! We always get a glimpse of the inner city street folks tattoo work when the sun starts beaming and the shirtless parties begin. Here's an absolute gem from one of the local crew!

Let's all hope for blue skies and cold beers! The board and shoe walls are packed if you need a serious gear up. We have fresh Lowcard, Death Squad, loser machine and tonnes of DLX entroute. Some of the guys have a few august and sept openings left so don't hesitate to stop in.

Friday the 13th tattoos and Jesse Young Guest Spot!

There's a friday the 13th this month and we're going to celebrate it! Chris and Heath are going to draw up a sheet of #13 tattoos and we're going to do $50 tattys on Friday the 13th this week! Also, Jesse Young from Six Gill Tattoo in Sechelt, BC will be visiting Showdown this week from May 12 until the 17th. I have no idea what his schedule looks like, but if you are interested in getting tattooed, give the shop a call or shoot us an email.

FINALLY!!!!

We have surpassed all of our technical hurdles!!! We will once again run freely on the interweb!!

Tonnes of thanks to showdowns very own "Randy" for sorting out all of our issues online. All the boys will be beefing up our portfolios over the next few weeks as we get this shit rockin again.

Lack of a site and an amazingly shitty winter has not hindered the shop of staying busy and full of quality product the last 6 months. Tonnes of new gear from Vans and Circa the last 2 weeks. As well since our online departure we have added the Death Squad and Loser Machine lines for all you cycle friendly dirtbags. Speaking of additions we have also had the pleasure of Severino Estevez joining to the Showdown Crew. Steve, Chris, Andrew and Heath couldn't be happier to have this Spanish wild man along side them on the tattoo tip!!

We have also recruited a couple new team members that you can see in the attached photo. If your in Chinatown kicking it ghetto in the near future make sure to come check us out!!
